Client: Arch Insurance Group | Vendor:Design Strategy Corporation
Nam Technologies, Inc. recently worked on a short Scrum project that had a nearly a full-time programmer analyst allocated as a resource to the team. We initially worked with Arch Group and Adaptik team in understanding architectures and providing architectural design solutions for data integration and migration with configuration management. Lead the team on requirements, development and testing activates for all transactional policy data. Worked in close with business leads in understanding the requirement and making sure the architecture is intact at development level besides investing on other complex modules which deal with premiums, limits, deductibles etc.
We attended all the planning meetings, retrospectives and stand-ups. Our work was managed just like the rest of the team’s: written as tasks and posted on the Scrum board. There was huge value in having Nam as a part of their team. We ensured our delivery be always resulted in dependable go-to resource for all the tucked-away documentation and hard-to-find system descriptions. Out of scope of this project is drafting requirements or use cases, or reports.
Created a high level architecture component which handles the high transactional data flow among multiple systems by designing and creating an architecture Integration agreement between components to handle cross business functionalities. These functionalities were designed and Implemented using SOA, Design Patterns, OOAD and Agile Methodologies besides designing and developing XML interfaces using object oriented .NET language. Analysis and Design included the Business Work Flows, Web Services and Integration with existing modules, database models using OOAD Methodology (UML/MS Visio) while developing the SOA using WCF Web Services and APIs.
The core functionality was developed with ASP.NET MVC Framework (C#.Net, ADO.NET). The project involved in retrieving data. We used LINQ to SQL and LINQ to Objects with ASP.Net to do the data retrieval. At custom level, we used Log4NET for logging different level activities. The entire application was designed considering Security, Reusability, Modularization, User Management, Different Interface and services, Exceptional Handling, Audit Trail.
Right through the Requirements gathering, Conceptual Design, Analysis, and Detail design, Development and System Testing, the entire project is delivered by performing performed unit testing on every new version before sending it for User Acceptance Test (UAT). We ensured that Responsible for Besides providing estimates, daily & weekly status report to the client on progress of the tasks, we ensured the deployment of the Application in production and resolved all post-deployment issues.
