  • Advise and Provide Project Management Support to AF/SG staff [to include the AF/SG, their Commanders’ Action Group, and other headquarters staff members the Contractor’s supervisor feels appropriate.]:
  • Meet and coordinate with project officers, subject matter experts and senior AF/SG personnel to plan illustration projects. Task 2: Upgrade/Improve Refresh Process to Automate Manual Refreshes

  • The Contractor shall create an MDPE test plan to migrate data products
  • OCC requires at least three (3) migrations per month (one per category be migrated and tested). Each data product requires its own test plan, and each data product's runbook must be updated to represent the new execution processes once the data product is migrated

Update the data refresh job schedule,Update the delimited files using a text editor (e.g., WordPad or Excel)

  • Review the logs for any errors during execution
  • Execute the Bash scripts on a Linux terminal
  • Output summary data (from the previous step) into either the existing Excel or Tableau format, based on the instructions in the runbook
  •  Update job schedule (using the IBM Process Manager) if needed
  •  Review the log on the Linux server for the server-side execution

Contractor shall perform the following activities for Category-3 data refreshes

  • Re-start the process after addressing any issues (related to access, missing data, or lack of space)
  • Update the Excel or Tableau report (approximately 20 in total) as documented in the runbook.
  • Create a test plan if the scripts change (Bash, Perl and SAS).
  • Create unit, system, integration, and regression test scripts when modifying scripts.

Upgrade/Improve Refresh Process to Automate Manual Refreshes

Task 3: Update Existing Scripts

  • Update Existing Scripts.The ETL work uses scripts written in Python, Bash, SAS, and Perl. Some of these scripts may require an update/change to improve the process efficiency or to remediate an error
